The foundation i-cord is quickly becoming my go-to method for starting most crochet projects. It replaces the foundation chain and first row of single crochet. So for me, it's a faster way to start, especially for mosaic crochet projects and graphghans. It creates a nice, neat edge and is fairly stretchy.
